Totally agree, mate! We've just been shopping, and it's crazy. Big queues at tills, with folks acting like it's the end of the world!!

I'd advise anyone if they want to get some stuff in for the next few days to go now while there's still food available, as shelves are emptying fast... Anyway, Del's now working remotely from home and won't be going back to college for at least the next 3 weeks, so we'll both be self-isolating, only making essential journeys outside, and riding this thing out.

I've always kept a decent 'buffer' stock of basic essentials. It's just seemed a sensible thing to do. Admittedly, last July I bought more in case there was a run on things for the October Brexit. Looks as though I did myself a favour, although I dare say shop stocks will soon recover from the panic buying. There's bound to be a point where buyers will realise they have enough. At least I didn't contribute to it all.

Lots of empty shelves in Tesco and queues like just before Christmas. We bought some canned food but there wasn't much left, even the Sardines and canned fruit have been snapped up. Hopefully, once the rush has sorted itself out, the supermarkets can restock.

Been three times to two different supermarkets this week and not a pack of pasta on the shelves! Virtually no rice, although there were some massive bags in Tesco today available for about fifteen quid! Fortunately no one is panic buying wine or beer it would appear!
