I'm not thinking so much about us but other people. We live in the sticks, with no neighbours, so we can go out and not see anybody to catch anything from. We have good stocks of everything (inc loo rolls), three freezers and lots of cans of all sorts. Our grown up kids are all an hour away but could get us shopping if needs be.

Trouble is, the talk is of 3 months isolation for it to die down. That will be a nightmare for many older folk but could be doable, I suppose, if the food delivery companies keep going.

Apparently, some GP surgeries are closed now, so what are the ill to do ?

It may be best to get infected now.

Hospitals are short of space and respirators with current level of infections. If you are over 60/have underlying medical problems, and are infected in May/June, when the expectation is that the infection rate will be at a peak, then it will become a lottery on whether or not you get a respirator in hospital.

Ridiculous scenes in Tesco Colney Hatch this morning. Shelves cleared like there's been a riot. The selfishness of some people filling their trolleys with multiple packs and leaving none for others is staggering. (Plus so much for getting here early to avoid crowded spaces.)

I doubt getting infected is good for anybody.

The hospitals will be approaching the limit of patients they can adequately treat now, never mind in three months!

Fucking disgusting. Was the same in our supermarket this afternoon. Only popped in for some milk & the people buying enough bog rolls to last a year. I was on the verge of having one clever basterd pushing his way about. Utter twatish behaviour
