Petrol/diesel very cheap at the moment, presumably due to reduced demand. Got the van and the car both filled up. When the restrictions are eventually lifted there will be a massive surge of panic buying, and there will be some folk stupid enough to try using their stockpiled alcohol-based hand cleansers in their cars.

Mrs. P has just ordered 10 black fabric masks off ebay. I don't expect they will offer the wearer much protection, but will certainly help to arrest coughs and sneezes. So they are there to protect others from us, and if everyone did the same I'm sure it can only help.

Our local hospital, Addenbrookes, has just been on the news. They have developed a machine used to check for Ebola into a Corona virus detector. Apparently, anyone can use it, gives results in minutes and doesn't use the 'chemicals' which are in short supply. They have 40 at the moment but hundreds can be made/day.
Could help a lot to get people back to work.

Hermes! There was a knock at my door earlier and I opened it to find myself face to face with a Hermes delivery driver offering me a package. WTF!! Don't they give these morons any training? He should have placed it on the doorstep and backed away. If I'm ill soon, I'll know who to blame, HERMES!!
