Well said. Spoke to my mum, who lives in Braemar, a small village in the Cairngorms. There were bus loads of tourists who come regularly to the hotels, they stripped the local shop of food and essentials. There is only one shop.

A friend told me of speaking to his mum who lives just down the road in Ballater, apparently there had been organised bus trips from Dundee with the express intention of stripping the shops in small towns/ villages. These “people” should suffer the same fate.
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

Well, on the plus side Sports Direct are refusing to close as Mike Ashly seems to think that he’s providing an essential service!
So if any of you feel like dressing up in slave labour produced Lonsdale clothing and looking a right chav twat, then you’re in luck.
He should be hung drawn and quartered.

Indeed he should . I nearly fell out with my brother in law (who a week ago returned from a week in France skiing !!) going on his Farcebook page and telling us how Boris was the worst pm ever and a bumbling idiot (all accompanied by a little cartoon of him on the Titanic ) for not doing things differently blah blah .
I was tempted to ask him if he wanted the job !! Hindsight is a wonderful thing ,now that the penny has dropped with MOST people
I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work

Yeah. Disgraceful attitude! Hope they nick him and he goes broke.

Construction sites seem to think they are a 'special case' too and are carrying on as normal. Bollocks I say!!

Videos from London tube trains on the news this morning, showing passengers packed together and very few wearing masks. Are they mad? There's no hope of containing the virus with this going on!

Doesn't help things when they've slashed the numbers of tubes running giving people no chance to distance themselves, absolute bloody madness.

I hope the current situation causes the introduction of ID cards, it would make administration much easier.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Sadiq cuts the number of trains and then people are closer together in the carriages of course.....its not rocket science. And some of these people are going to be key workers ( NHS etc )

Well, aside from key workers, if EVERYONE ELSE just PARKED THEIR ARSES AT HOME and STAYED PUT, it would go a long way towards solving the problem!! The idiots who don't come into the former category need to get that message into their THICK SKULLS, or be FORCED into it by the authorities!!

So yes, bring ID cards into the equation and only allow key workers, who can prove themselves as such, to travel on the tube, with appropriate checks being made *before* entry to platforms is allowed. And get the police or army involved if necessary to enforce it. Simples!
