Glad she's ok. Not a special journey, but she could get stuff for you when she's going to the supermarket, then drop it off (leave it outside your front door). That's what I'm doing with my dad

He's fine, Brian. Thanks for asking. Loves working in his garden and making things out of wood. Pretty fit for age. I'd certainly settle for that at 87, if I get there!

Last few days have been quite pleasant for me (I know that sounds very self centred) but I have been getting out in the garden and getting ahead with lots of jobs:

Grape vines trimmed (wrong time of year, but didn't feel like it back in December)
One of my pergolas pressure washed (to get rid of algae), then treated with preserver.
    Patio blocks pressure washed.
Wood chairs cleaned and teak oiled.

Raised beds topped up with soil (on offer at Wickes and delivery today. Still waiting for tomato, sprouting broccoli and broad beans to germinate so that I have something to put in the raised beds

Daughter just back home from work at hospital (she is an OT), apparently we have possibly been in contact with the virus.
My daughter has been working with patients for weeks who have developed Covid but were on general wards. So either our routine is very clean (she goes straight in to the shower when she gets home and her clothes are all washed at 65 degrees then tumble dried each evening (my bloody electricity bills), or we have immunity? or it takes longer than 14 days to develop?

Really missing the pub, but have a selection of beers on the patio cooling down for tonight and my first batch of beer (Woodfordes Nog) is ready for transferring to the pressure barrel - something else that I will be getting on with.

    All the best. Guy.
LP12, Ittok (black), DV10X5, NVA Phono 2 (twin supply), NVAP50, Art Audio Quintet 15w power amp, NVA LS5 cable, Rega Ela mk1's.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

scottish chief medical officer decided to ignore her own advice and go and travel to her second home, staying overnight and with family.
How does she have gall to demand others not do things that she does... yet keeps her job of course, where we would be Fined etc.

Now we have Hancock saying no-one will be allowed out to excersise... well good luck implementing that
