I've resently moved to Torquay in Devon after leaving the retail side of the hifi industry. Over the last 25 years I witnessed many changes some for good but many not so.
My system has changed many times over the years but it is fairly stable at the moment.
A Melco with Casea DAC feeds into either a 6 watt Trafomatic Aries or a 50 watt Sony TA-5650 Vfet amp.
The Sony is winning me over because of it's smooth and detailed delivery.
I'm trying to build up a Sony system from 1978, the year my wife was born.
After getting hold of a serviced amp and tuner it's just the speakers to go.
Getting hold of the Sony SS-G5 or 7 is proving tricky because of their age.
