    Default FS: QED Arias Speakers

Surprisingly good little single driver speakers ideal for desktop/nearfield setup.

They've been in my son's bedroom system for playing story CDs at bedtime but we never use it anymore. I recently spent an evening listening to them driven by my valve amp and I was shocked how good they sounded. Very coherent being single driver, and they just need a little sub to make a nice second system in a small room.

I'd love to keep them but I don't have anywhere for another system so they might as well go to someone who will use them rather than up on the loft.

Boxed in excellent condition with wall mounting accessories, two different grilles, port plugs etc. I'm asking £25 collected from North London, or postage at buyer's cost and risk.

Nicer metal grilles fitted. Not sure why I didn't use these in the first place..

No reviews as such, not really a mainstream speaker, but they get a good mention here:

I've had a couple of pairs, one pair is now on the end of a friends Denon micro system and she's very happy with them. For £25 they're a bargain, IIRC they were £200 when new.

Thanks David yes they are very nice and also underrated (or virtually unknown) - perfect if you only need small speakers.

If we're all going to be stuck in our homes we'll want to cheer ourselves up by buying more hifi.

Not fancy stuff given the economic uncertainty, budget gear is the way to go.

Any chance they can hitch a ride next time you travel North?

Yes quite possibly but in the circumstances it might not be for a while.
