Brilliant stuff, Paul, and thanks for taking the time to do that
I'm a big fan of both EMT turntables and arms, and 103s (especially the SA, which I consider as one of the best ever of the genre), and also SPU headshells (and cartridges)!
You've done a great job of housing the SA in an empty SPU headshell. Plenty of mass there too, to keep it happy! Only thing I'd say, as someone who's experienced the sonic benefits of doing so, with both SPUs and 103 in detachable headshells, is upgrading the lead wire - and judging by what's shown in your pics, you can do better!
Try a set of these instead, and trust me, you'll remove a notable bottleneck, right at the source of the music signal: https://www.ortofon.com/lw-7n-p-438-n-3445

Are they flexible Marco cos they look a tad Thick?
They're flexible enough to fit mate, and once in situ of course don't need moved
Or you can go for the 6N ones, which are thinner. The leads are thick because they're made from good quality copper wire.

Thanks for the comments Marco and the desire for an end game 103 set up was spawned during the 'legendary' 103 War of the Words between Romy the Cat and Thorsten Loesch many moons ago...upgrading the lead wire
All my other cartridges sport choice headshell/leads and the SPU I do have good wires cut and ready to go.... Just cannot find it in myself to alter it as it sounds just 'right'...
I am though someone who uses old Klangfilm cinema loudspeaker cable so I am partial to olde wire.... Who knows when I will get the soldering iron to it....!
