    Default WTD: Budget phono stage

    Hi All

I've got a queue of my daughters friends asking me to put together a vinyl based system for them.

As the anointed 'expert' I've only gone a bought a bloody Denon PMA250se without a phono stage

So looking for a cheap and as decent as possible phono stage - budget £30 tops - any cheaper even better - any old Cambridge, project or rega would be great - cosmetics are not important.

I think i'll stick with the here, The Wam and PFM etc and avoid ebay going forward, so will place a wanted ad for cheap budget classic amps with phono stages asap.

    Cheers

    Rich

That's funny its my daughters 15th birthday and she has asked for a turntable. Its been fun cobbling bits and pieces together.
Great that kids are getting back into stereo in a way. Not to mention it has broadened her music choice.
I am going to wait a while before i plug in a tape deck and see if she develops.a yearning to put togeter a mixed tape

I have a battery powered one you could have for £10, it uses a PP3.
It has been 'Firebottle'd' so the EQ is closer than built.
