    Default Speaker covers.

Having moved to a new house, there is only certain placement for the speakers. Unfortunately, this means they fall under direct sunlight for most if the day. I cover them with rugs but am looking for a more bespoke solution. Any one know where I can get felt/cotton/velvet speaker covers made? I do remember reading something around this topic on one of The Forums, but cannot find it! Thanks for looking. 62.

Can you not diffuse the light with net curtains?

Thanks Barry, though not a net curtain fan really. We do have blinds, thought room is obviously dark when they are down, which we don’t want.

I can understand that, I'm not keen on net curtains myself. Are your blinds vertical, so you can adjust the angle as the sun moves during the day?

Failing that, I'm sure some loose covers could be easily made for you if you provide the dimensions of the speaker and choose the material.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Blinds are vertical, so it’s either or. Thanks Grant, I’ll check it out.

Check online for local curtain alterations, dress makers etc. Basically someone with a sewing machine and knows how to use it..
Look local for the material you want, measure your speakers and send all the person to stitch together...

Looks good Martin. When I get a minute, I’ll order some. Made in Denver Co, my favourite city!
