Refurbishment of vintage Hi-Fi

Just wondering. Is there a definition of veteran, vintage and classic for hi-fi purposes? You know, as in cars from different eras. Maybe classic is 80s and 90s, vintage is 60s and 70s and veteran is 50s and prior?

If ever there was a place to ask I guess this is it.

I sympathise with Ronald, as I too lost a lengthy post I had written to the Forum, shortly after I joined. I was advised by Admin, that one should always tick the 'Remember me' box at the top of the page just before you tick the 'log in' box.

If you don't do that you will still be able to read posts and surf the Forum, but your ability to reply or start a new thread will have timed-out.

Yes Barry; it is a pain, particularly when you are only trying to help others who might have the same problem.
