I spend probably 3-4 hours a day in the kitchen, more at the weekends - what's wrong with wanting my music to sound good in there?

thats so funny. They are components that some people could not afford to use in the main stereo..
    Hi Andre,
I consider my kitchen's system quite modest and enjoyable one
I really prefer to have music around me. On the other hand there are much more people which don't care about music and our HiFi passion seems extreme even with a very basic system. Which is normal because we are different. So everybody according his own needs and preferences. I'm quite addicted to tapes for example which a lot of people will not understand.

I understand. I used to get a big kick out of Audio Cassettes, they are great but i do not bother anymore cos im getting very bone idle in my old age, or maybe the passion has died. It just all too much trouble & money for me.. the easy & cheapest way out will always win the day.. I feel that its better to spend money on music than spend the money you dont need to on Equipment. If it sounds good enough to convey enjoyment & emotion in music its truly good enough.
