    Lockwood Tannoys.

Little ones £4K. Big ones £6.5K. Really big ones not at show £14K.

Had this played on the big ones loud.

Epic version of Hey Joe suggest you try and listen to it tonight after a beer or two.

Let me say this. Not in the same league as ex-member Tom's Tannoys.

    Lots of Fyne type Tannoyishness.

Pricey at the top end of their price list no question but they do seem to be good.

I went yesterday with my son who is looking for DAC/amp plus speakers at a realistic price (£2k for both).

Didn’t take any pics but the Hegel rooms with KEF LS50 and Amphion speakers sounded great, full of dynamics and nuances not found in lots of other rooms.

Being a full range fan the Voxativ speakers sounded fantastic but at a price.

Any comments on the LV room? I have had problems with bass ‘bloom’ from Avatars in my small listening room and could hear the same problem in their Kuzma room.

Food for thought though and a worthwhile visit.

    I believe it is this.

Why? Because he was flicking through another copy as we were talking trying to find something.

He said it was excellent. Tannoy use was prolific so there should be quite a bit about them in there.

Heard these at Cranage, really excellent.
