Is this the Scottish equivalent of Stonehenge and you just casually turn up and move the stones around?

I bet the astro-anthropologists get very confused when they try to work out the astral and spiritual meaning of it all

4 hour road trip old boy... Porridge & scotch sausage with eggs for breakfast & lashings of fresh coffee, the clear out had already happened before I set off

Suffering already... Been doing daft stuff like this since I was 21, 40 now & feeling old / decrepit / fragile

But I’m in denial about all of that, so just keep on lifting heavy shit

How about trying to lift one of these:

    ?

They are Olmec petrospheres seen in Central America. These were photographed in Costa Rica.

No-one knows why they were carved, or how the stone-masons were able to carve near perfect spheres to with a few millimetres of true sphericity.

They vary in size from a few tens of cm to a couple of metres in diameter.

Equally impressive, but no more than I'd expect - are you still planning to install the funicular railway? It could make a great ski resort, if only it'd stop steaming

That big stone ball reminds me of the Martian Chronicles mini series from the late 70's [Rock Hudson]

Haha no... They look amazing though and I bet close to 500kg, if not heavier! Natural stone tends to be hell of a lot heavier than you think!
