It was -1.5C, blowing a hoolie & it had to be done haha

Did that & the Newtonmore Stone, which is just up the A9 a bit further & then back to a roaring fire in Dunkeld... I was frozen & needed liquid warmth

Aye, that's cos these days they're rarely emptied, other than 'by hand'

So, Dan, in approx percentages, how much of successfully lifting those stones is technique/experience, and how much brute strength?

    Marco.

    Percentages? Bloody hell

75% technique & 20% brute strength and 5% brains removed for doing a slippery stone in the snow haha

Lifting bars is easy, lifting stones (more so natural, odd shaped stones) is difficult. But, once you’ve got the grasp (pardon the pun) it’s like 2nd nature...

Marco looks just the same as that when he tips his bag of freshly-raked leaves over the fence into next doors...

You must have a camera trained on my garden... So no mention of my beautifully-formed 'manure pile'?

    Marco.
