Default What to do with a duff valve?

Justin of this parish asked me if I wanted a duff 211, what sort of question is that?

The 211 is quite a chunky valve so I hatched a plan and said yes. The result is this:

A slightly unusual table lamp, running off a 12V wall wart. Fortunately I had the bits and pieces in the junk box, plus a lot of Led's.
Firebottle - for the no bottleneck approach.

I love Hendrix for so many reasons. He was so much more than just a blues guitarist - he played damn well any kind of guitar he wanted. In fact I'm not sure if he even played the guitar - he played music. - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Pining for the fjords? What kind of talk is that? And why did he fall flat on his back the minute I got him home?

I've read about some nasty hospital admissions in similar situations, you'd better warn her.
