FS Onkyo A-9010 amp EU spec with onboard DAC
Wanting to move on my Onkyo amp to help fund an upgrade on my main setup.
The amp is 14 months old and was bought new and has been powering my bedroom setup all of that time.
If you check out online reviews this amp is very highly rated by the mags and for the money there’s little to touch it imo.
If you’re familiar with this amp you will know that the ones sold in the UK are purely analogue which put me off buying one for quite a while, then I read on an online forum (not this one) that the amp was sold for the US and EU markets with a 2 input Wolfson DAC so it fit my requirements perfectly. Unfortunately actually getting hold of one was not at all easy and took some intensive internet searching. Eventually I managed to source one from a German retailer and got it shipped to the UK. It was definitely worth all the extra effort and cost to get the convenience of an onboard DAC.
The amp also has a MM phono stage which I’ve found to give very good sound quality in conjunction with my Goldring E3.
Looking for £150+ carriage which will be about £12-15 due to size and weight or buyer can collect.
As is to be expected the unit is in mint, unmarked condition with all original packaging, remote control and instruction manual.
