Default Meridian M1 active speakers and 208 CDP/Pre

Not mine but an elderly friend who's jazz loving husband sadly passed away. I'm helping her clear the way with an imminent move into a smaller property and was wondering whether there might be some love out there for this vintage kit. Also what should she expect as a fair price?

Thanks Grant. The do appear to be in more than reasonable nick given their age as does the CDP. Beryl won't be expecting top dollar for them given she was advised around £300 by another friend which I thought a little light. I just want to ensure they don't get carted off as part of the scheduled house clearance.

    Best regards, Kevin

Thanks Andre. I didn't see a 101B just the 208. I unplugged a Mitchell TT (she's keeping that for sentimental reasons) from the 208. There's a separate meridian control unit which appears to cover source selection etc.

Although that 101 is a bit over-optimistically priced and has been on eBay for a while!

I'm quite temped by the M1s although goodness only knows what I would do with yet another pair of speakers. I reckon £500 for them is about the right ballpark though.

Looking on HiFiShark, two sets of Meridian M1s went for about £1,000 a pair. Considering they are active speakers, I would have thought £750 to be reasonable.
