Everything crossed, and prayers and thoughts for Sue and you Adrian.
Completely agree Alex, AOS is for me a great forum where the majority of threads are friendly and constructive with sincerity, and builds friendships.

Thank you for you kind words for me and Sue.

So yesterday afternoon Sue came home with a bag pills to last 2 weeks. Sue has to return for blood tests in 2 weeks to check no signs of infection and liver and kidneys working properly, they will get results which we will have to wait for.

We saw the lady consultant surgeon who will be seeing her in 4 weeks and has pencilled in a big operation on Sue in 12 weeks. If the histology results are not good then the op will be brought forward. But she is hopeful it will be good news.

Sue is as you can imagine feeling pretty rough still, but is happy to be home. It is lovely to have her here with me again.

Thank you all for your kind words and wishes. I don’t think there is much wrong with AoS

Glad to hear things are moving in a positive direction for Sue. Always nice to get back to your home, for everybody’s wellbeing. Fingers crossed for the future treatment. Wishing you both all the very best.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”
