the FB monos` are a delightful pair of amps so be interesting to hear your thoughts
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

I really like the FB monos.
The 86 have some serious competition. The amps will be driving Electric Beach FH3 speakers, so we will see which is the preferred partner.

Would love to hear running into my Ocellia Calliope speakers. (No cross-over hassles, being 'full-range'). Currently using a Pass F3 which are fine.
Being 90+ efficient, they'd run on low wattage-but they are 16 ohm.

An OTL would be great with those.
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

I’ve been running a Modulus 86 amp for a few weeks now driving Tannoy Berkeley’s. My First Watt VFET and F6 Amps have been gathering dust ever since. They’re fabulous amps which allow a level of insight into recordings I’ve not experienced before.

They are indeed most acceptable, though for best results ditch the smps and run a pair of quality torriodal's have built a few this way for customers

Mine are built in a mono block configuration, with some nice big torroidal transformers in them.
