    Anyone explain WHY they sound 'better' than most? As in, circuit/layout etc.. Am intrigued.

    No idea. The claim is of really low distortion levels, so it may all be down to the circuit.
    Mine should be delivered in the next few days, so I will have a weekend of seeing what amps suit my system and personal taste best.

    The low distortion figures are down to the clever circuit implementation.

    They have arrived....
    They are plugged in, and some vinyl is spinning away.

    Mote thoughts at the weekend when the new cable (phono to XLR) has had time to settle in.

    ran my frugels with 4 temple audio mono blocks on battery power at one point=loved what they did.

    I have swapped the cable out, for an MC5000 based cable, as it was too bright.

    And now I have fitted one of my copper OCC cables with a silver plated Neutrik plug.
    I am streaming from Tidal HiFi and the system sounds superb.

    I need to wait until the weekend before I can crank the volume up a bit and get the FH3s working properly before I pass final judgement.
