Hi All.

Lover of Quad gear, SETs, horns and electrostatics (but don't have really enough room for any of them). Prefer simple systems carefully set up, and believe a carefully put together system can often outperform a much more expensive, but poorly set-up mega-system. Love vinyl front ends, not so keen on digital, but enjoy the occasional foray into that bitty world. Much more into spending money on music to play rather than gear to play it on.

That's quite a broad range of gear you like. To some extent it is mutually exclusive in concept: Quad amplification and SETs, but if it all sounds good to your ears then that is all that matters.

What are your tastes in music? I agree that far too many people spend inordinate sums on the hardware and comparatively little on the software.
