I bought a vintage Rowlett 'Regent' toaster that is about that is about 50 years old.. in fact they still make them still to this day..People like Dualit but i think they are poor comparison..

We had a Dualit coffee percolator for about 15 years until the element failed. Bought a replacement found in a charity shop for £5 but it doesn't percolate for long enough.
I may be able to make a correctly working one from the two.
Another percolator that has only just failed was a Timothy Whites brand. That was an excellent percolator, perhaps 40 years old or more?
Timothy Whites became Boots Chemist for those not in the know.
