Default Another faulty CD player thread

Hi folks, my CD player has just developed a problem so advice sought.

It reads the disc.... Plays.... then very quickly the sound distorts & a few seconds later silence. It's still reading, no skipping.

Anyone had a similar problem with their spinner? If yes could you let me know what was the cause.

I'm hoping it may need a capacitor replacing or something simple 😬 Is there anyone who could suggest what they think what it may be.

    Cheers

It's a Helios Stargate Andre. Difficult to access the transport area but I can get to the output board just behind the RCA sockets.
Just found that the digital output still works fine so I'm assuming the problem is with the analogue output stage. I can see a little 'browning' to one 4700 uhf capacitor but not massive.
