    I have one.
It sounds very good indeed with kef 104/2 and kef coda 3.

    I am very impressed.
    I got mine for £200 from amazon.de.
I wanted silver and the A9010 with the dac.
    The A9110 has no dac.

Used prices make it a steal.

    Negatives.
    Doesn't accept banana plugs.
Remote lightweight like a child's toy. But works well.

Ah right well i dont want the DAC inputs so it will have to be the 'A9110' then. No worries with the remote i never ever use them they usually stay in the box..

Only other option is i have a pair of Active monitors i bought last year. Im only going to be using a single line level input & no headphones on this system. Maybe just a passive pre amp would suffice but i dont like the majority of em..

Grab a used BlueSound Node2 of eBay, and there's no need for a pre with your actives. The Node has volume +/- and the usual play/pause etc on the top. the Node will do NAS, Computer, + Internet radio and Spotify etc, also has USB, AUX and optical in + a sub out.

Pick up a proart amp. Get a new one for 50 notes. Really quite decent amps. I have 4. 2 in use and 2 spares. I use mine as power mono amps but can be used in stereo with flick of button.
Don't let the price fool you they are well made and would originally cost a fair bit

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    I agree with Grant.

The Proarts sound bloody amazing for the money. They are professional amps and the cooling fan can be slightly intrusive at close quarters, but there's an easy cure for that. Can be used as a single input integrated amp if needed as there's a volume control.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
