    I'm Greg.

Default FS: Radford STA25 Series 3

This amplifier is in rare very very good condition and has been checked over by Radford Revival in the last year. I’m simplifying again, so it’s up for grabs.

Comes with a lovely set of recent Gold Lion KT77 and NOS small signal valves, as well as a spare set of JJ EL34 and JJ small signal valves.

    £1650 firm, no offers please.

    Based in Nottingham.

Beautiful! If I didn't already have an STA 15/III (which is not used as much as it ought to be), I would have this like a shot.

    Good luck with the sale.

Thank you. Maybe I just need to lie down for a bit and come to my senses?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

I was the previous owner of this and if you're in the market for a STA25 buy this one ! The valves are barely used, the signal valves being very nice GE ones. I put all new tubes in it to a cost of around £220. And Greg, post a photo of the underside - Will's work is art !
