Up for sale my personal pair of immaculate Tannoy Canterbury SEs. Approx 7 years old, great Tannoy sound and I'll be sad to see them go. Few things can match a Tannoy 15ins in full swing. I have all the manuals, pointy, non pointy feet, grills with keys etc. Better pictures to come shortly but y'all know what they look like!

£6.500 . Pick up only from South West LondonCantpair.jpgCanttest.jpgDriver1.jpg

Surprised you're selling these, David. My pair have been with me for nearly ten years now, and I have no intention of ever parting with them.
People often assume they are 'big room' speakers, but I (along with many Japanese audio-nuts) know these particular Tannoys also work superbly in small (tiny!) rooms. Really.

I heard an AOS member's pair of big Tannoys a couple of years ago and they sounded stunning, never heard anything like it Hifi wise, the subsonic bass was astonishing.

Inadequate photos again David. Your advert will be deleted if you don't deal with this. Please familiarise yourself with the rules. Thanks.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Lovely speakers these, i've heard them at David's place, and they sound sublime in that way only a big driver can.
What are you replacing these with ? or are the Troels moving into the house ?

Thanks Al. I can't get the hang of photos on AOS. I either get 'photo size too large' or a Mod telling me off

Yep, Tannoys are the business in my opinion, owning a pair of Ardens myself and a friend has a pair of Kensington HR's, both sound superb.

I think the current Canterbury's new are around a mouth watering £31K so these should be snapped up.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
