Transcription Audio 211 single ended triode integrated amplifier

Its taken me nearly a year to decide if I keep my 45 monoblocks or the 211 integrated. I will probably regret it, but the 211 is up for sale.
Half wave valve rectification,

Massive mains transformer,

Oil filled 2Kv capacitor the size of a Tupperware lunchbox,

Desirable C core output transformers.

Driver valves are RTC E182cc

Valve rectifiers are CV187

Triodes are nearly new psvane T Series Mark II

Upgraded Audionote volume pot

Beautiful dense Greenheart wood case (better 'sounding')

At about 20w per channel it will drive a wide range of speakers

Very heavy

Sounds wonderful and will be shown working.

I was watching a documentary about Scott of the Antarctic and noted that his ship Discovery was clad externally in Greenheart wood to protect it from being crushed by ice. It is one of the densest, stiffest woods naturally occurring

Just to clarify a couple of points. This is a true integrated with 4 switchable inputs. It is far to heavy to post, so collection only ��

If I’m going to all this effort I would like to get the pictures the same size as on my computer, not pretty thumbnails ��
