Funny , i had a quick rummage in a second hand shop after work , just of Tottenham crt road. I heard these guys talking to the owner and buying mad stuff like calypso and afro cuban and i realized they were members of Aerosmith. These guys said they didnt even have a TT but just wanted to re live the fun of looking for a few hidden gems. Says it all i guess.

This company specialises in tracking down and selling what they see as the definitive pressings. They're extremely expensive because you're basically paying for them to try out loads of vinyl in order to find the best...Originally Posted by colinB

Me? I think half the fun of record collecting is finding the best ones yourself. Trial and error. A record cleaning machine is likely to help too.

I gave up buying new vinyl a short while ago. After paying £25 (or so) each for a fair few shockers, I got a bit pissed off with it.
