    Hi Neil
Canned Heat certainly on You Tube, has some edited and missing sections, but recording engineer Eddie Kramer
infers there is a lot of material from Woodstock that was unreleased, due to legal issues.

A nice summary of their concert, is here: https://woodstock.fandom.com/wiki/Canned_Heat

The legality issues likely arise as Woodstock was promotion for Atlantic label and Atlantic subsidiary label artists.
Hendrix as example at the time was released on Reprise, and attached subsequently to Warner, but Canned Heat were
as I recall United artists, and clashes over subsequent release of material was inevitable to occur where labels
unrelated to Atlantic were involved. Atlantic were attained by Warner https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...c_Group_labels

    Thanks for the links
I just think its a shame that there are many lost performances out there that people could enjoy - would it really hurt to let things go especially when they are of an age
