No one has answered but all I can say is that my HH Scott 350 tuner is blinkin' fantastic.

So they did make at least one great item

Meant to post, I had thought these were the same maker as the HH studio amps the BBC used after Quad but a search showed they are a US valve amp maker. The amps looked very well made to me and worth spending a bit to get them restored.

    Info they are

    Scott Type 296
    Scott LK 72
    Scott stereomaster 340

I'm not sure what to offer and they are strictly spares or repair - what do you guys think worth risking or leave well alone?

I Have a Stereomaster type 299-B integrated, and a 121 -B Dynaural preamp on the bench at the moment, both came in to be serviced, re-valved etc, these are high quality units, although the amplifiers are quite complicated to set up, ie; bias, and signal balance etc, so not the usual plug and play, I have had a few Scott amps in over the years, and when serviced properly, they are very reliable.
    Hope this helps.
