Is there any benefit in the Dorado II over a Dorado I when running from a Long Dog Audio linear power supply, fed from a mains regenerator?

You'll need to raise the output voltage of the Lurcher PSU to between 16-17V if you want to go down that route. The Dorado II needs that sort of supply level at the input.
You would have to ask Nick though how his supply can be adjusted for a higher output. He explained it to me once, but that is years ago.
Benefit wise, you should get a slightly warmer sound.

    Thanks.
I think there is a small adjustment screw in the smaller box that would need to be tweaked.
