Just a query re Michell Orbe , can this play 45 rpm ? Recently researched the Orbe and it appears the 'orbe controller' no longer has a speed change facility. Cannot seem to find absolute clarity on this on the net.

You just move the belt on the pulley AFAIK.

There should be a little push button on the front of the d/c power supply. The led on the top changes from green to red. I assume your deck has the d/c motor.

Adam is quite correct. The pulley on the motor spindle has two grooves, one for 33, the other for 45.
There's also a switch on the power supply to do the same, but I think this may be generation dependent.
