    Default Taxi please!

Hi - I have bought a pair of stands in Twickenham and I need to get them to Manchester - or at least somewhere near here where I can collect. The cost for transport outweighs the cost of the item! Is there anyone making a trip next week? I can help with a contribution to fuel.

I tend not to buy heavy or large items until I have sorted the transport out as I don't like disappointing sellers.

I have the option of Shiply but the quotes are higher than the purchase price! I just thought someone off here might as well do with the money as giving it to man and van bloke.

I sympathize with you mate, I've just sold a Rel Storm and the postage costs were unreal. I did a quick check with parcel2go, put in weight and it came up £20. So I agreed to sale, but only after I had put in all details and only had to pay did it come up with they will not deliver it.......anyone.
I've since, thanks to advice, booked with Overland courier service and the guy actually told me what to do to get it delivered.
Nearly £40 mind, but the buyer has gone halts, but it's a lesson learned.
    Good luck with your endeavours.

Pharos accepts larger parcels then Parcel2Go they must have a different agreement with the couriers. I got some floorstanders via them with UPS and they arrived safely.

I will accept most parcels, especially if they contain Hi-Fi equipment.
