If you can get that you'll have done well! I think you could stick a couple of plastic tweeters off a pair of JPW sonatas in a box with a cap and get £150 for them these days if you call them supertweeters

KT88 tested

Took the KT88's over to Firebottle's place this morning and he tested the valves. I am sure Alan will agree that his home built valve tester is fairly basic but all 4 of the NOS Sovteks measured as expected and were reasonably well matched. Not identical but in his opinion close enough to be sold as a matched quad.

The other 4 KT88 - ie used valves

one pair were reasoanbly well matched and measured strong.

The other pair reasonable closely matched to each other and useably but not ideal for long term replacement more a get you out of trouble emergency or test pair.
