    When young I worked with the Aeronautical engineer who did some of the major design work on Concorde's wings, he said it was the hardest thing he ever did.

    When I worked with him he went on to set up one of the first 3D client server based CAD systems used for modelling Oil rig designs. He also had an aluminium racing catamaran which he designed and put aerofoils on it, just to see if he could go for a sail speed record. My father went on it at Weymouth harbour and said it was frightening as it reached 30+knots but was very hard to steer. A very clever chap.

    I worked at Heathrow for a while in the computer department next to the BA servicing area and regularly got to see Concorde up close, a wonderful bit of human engineering.

    Nope, they were all renamed Concorde.
    The one at Aerospace Bristol has an e on the end of it. It is also the aircraft which performed the last Concorde flight.

    A mate of mine once told his girlfriend she had a nose like Concorde. She didn't take it very well, but he assured her that he likes Concorde because it's awesome. They weren't together for very long after that.
