    Default Radford Sta12 service advice

    Hi all, I need some advice regarding my Radford Sta12.
    It's as far as I can tell in good working order and doesn't do anything it shouldn't. There are no hums, strange noises or anything else, I'm very satisfied with it's sound.
    I would like to get it serviced, mainly as it is 58 years old (1961), my main goal is to make sure it is safe and to ensure longevity. I'm also sure a service could improve the already excellent sound.
    I did get a quote, £500-800 which is more than I expected, I knew it would cost a few hundred but didn't think that much.
    I would appreciate some advice and recommendations of who to approach and what I should expect to pay.
