Wanted: Smooth/Analogue Sounding DAC

Looking for a "smooth" sounding DAC - appreciate this is a little vague but I am after something along the lines of an Audio Note/Border Patrol etc type offering.

Must be pretty much unmarked - am a little anal in this regard. Budget absolute maximum budget of £900.

If it's for CD, you could look at something from Meridian or Monarchy Audio.

It is for attaching to a streamer.

You won’t go wrong with a DDDAC 1794. One for sale on PFM not long ago, I’ll see if I can find the link.

A very good forum member too, who knows his stuff. Dac for those who don’t like digital pretty much covers it.

I have an M2Tech Young with linear psu I'm thinking of moving on.

Not sure if it's the sort of thing you're looking for but I'm pricing it at £325 + your choice of postage.
