    The wattage doesn’t make any difference and McIntosh are definitely known to have a warm presentation.

    That said, I’m still really interested in your thoughts and experience with these “Big Mac’s”

    I’m not concerned about the consumption/running cost ore the resell price, what’s on my mind is the sound signature, as I can’t hear them before buying them

    I suspect there's a lack of real experience of this model on the forum. You might get more input from the US forums where both manufacturers are local and major players, plus a bigger population of obsessive geeks to poll
