This mat really gave snap and focus to the decks I've tried it on.
Some may find it expensive, but for what it gives, I think it's a relative bargain.
You could end up wasting more sodding around with multiple mat experiments...

It is one of the only upgrades that isn't system dependent. I have never heard anyone say it hasn't improved things and a unanimously recommended product for £300, at a time when people are buying grounding boxes for £££££s, is an absolute bargain.

Yes it has been so last year for several years now but it's going nowhere.

Reluctantly I have to agree if it's as big an improvement as my copper mat, which I'm sure it is, then it's a bargain.

Yes Paul, just wondered if you'd heard on in your system.

Not trying to convert you, just wondered.

Not a tenuto, heard them in other systems. The copper mat I have does exactly the same thing with my denon DP80, the special rubber mat that came with the denon and has some kind of damping in between layers of rubber sounds dull in comparison. As said these mats make a massive difference and worth a try rather spending vast sums on carts that always need a good match with phono stages, step ups and arms.

IME, the Tenuto is an essential upgrade for the SP-10, but doesn't do much for the G99.

Did some comparisons of an Oyaide MJ12 vs Tenuto (3mm) on a SP10 Mk2.

The Tenuto won easily (agreed with two listeners) and was a huge improvement over stock.
    Seconded.
