WTD: Quad 2805s.

As my speakers are sold, I am now looking for a pair of Quad 2805s. Somewhere near that London next Wednesday would be perfect!

(I have to drive from Plymouth to Croydon on Tuesday to deliver them, so staying at a cheap hotel on Tuesday night and picking up the Quads next day would be lovely. I can dream.)

Is the pair on eBay of no interest? States location as Eastcote( Harrow/ Ruislip area) but NW10 postcode would indicate Wembley/Harlesden area of Greater London, Wish you luck.

Apologies if you have already considered this but have you also tried to contact Quad directly? As you may be aware, they sometimes sell refurbished older electrostatics. I bought my 63's from them a couple of years back for circa 1300. Was more expensive than eBay options but I had peace of mind and a warranty for a year or two. Might be worth checking if they have 2805's too. just a thought.
