Default FS/Swap: Fostex TH600 Reference headphone

Excellent sound - hugely spacious and dynamic, but with oodles of refinement and detail.
I'd definitely class them as a top echelon "super headphone".

    Excellent condition and working order.
They are a closed design with very low sound leakage.
    Amazingly cumfy, imo.

These have had the cable shortened by the previous owner to a little over 1m and a 3.5mm plug fitted.
Occasionally there is intermittent jack plug contact and the sound drops on one channel - it hasn't been much hassle for me as it is easily sorted by readjusting the plug connection (just joggling it a bit!) and careful positioning of the jack plug insertion (not quite all the way in) results in a fix until you unplug.

The earcups have been replaced with non-original items. They are very cumfy and imho have improved the sound by reducing the extra bit of 'edge' reported in some reviews.
It's a fairly standard 4 inch diameter ear cup, so the world is your oyster if you want to change them!

They aren't original (earcups and cable shortened) and there is the occasional intermittent connection issue mentioned above, so the price for these amazing headphones has been adjusted accordingly.

I have the original box and this will be included.

    £175 inc UK insured postage.
    - px or swaps considered.

Slight correction - the cable is a bit over 1m long.

Tempting, but I already have 3 pairs of headphones, and the cable is a tad too short for me.
A very good price on these though, so good luck with the sale.

Can you have too many headphones?

Extension cables needn't cost too much.
