I heard a song yesterday on the radio, from one of my favourite films (The Big Lebowski), and set out to find who did it. Turned out to be Kenny Rogers (Just Dropped In). His sings were never my thing either, but maybe I should give some of his early stuff a go.

Part of my childhood since Radio 2 was always playing in the kitchen.

My interest in music started around 1962 - I loved it and was interested in anything, if it was unusual or just sounded nice great,it was all about the sound, I didn't know what hardly any of the artists looked like - I remember hearing 'Ruby' and I instantly liked it,I'm not a fan it just brings back memories of finding new stuff without influence, bias, peer pressure etc...
