    Default FS: Raspberry Pi 3+ - Allo Boss 1.2 - Isolator & 2x LPSU

    Hi all,

Angus has asked if I'd advertise this for him as he doesn't have answers to the likely questions he'd receive.

So, the sale includes, a RPI 3+ Allo Isolator and the Allo Boss 1.2 DAC and a SD card with Volumio installed.

It has 2x LPSU which includes all cables (except mains cable) to get this unit powered up and playing music.

As you all know, I am a big fan of the Allo gear so can recommend it highly.

Priced to sell at £215 Inc postage in the UK.

I've stolen Jimbos pics of the units. Thanks Jim.

Ridiculously good value for a top quality streamer.

A couple of tentative enquiries about this but still here.

How about £195 to include postage.

Can't even buy the parts for Allo at that.

    Hi Ollie

A few questions (I still don't understand how PIs work).

    1. Does it have an ethernet port or is it just to use with Wi-Fi?
    2. Can it be used to stream Tidal (download the Tidal app to it)?
    3. Why has it got two power supplies?

Sorry if these are daft questions but I can never get my head round what a PI actually does.

    It has both!

I believe you can, and I did but I can't remember how I did it. I am sure one of the guys here will be able to help with that

    3. Why has it got two power supplies?

One is for the isolator and the Allo boss board and the other is for the RPI. It is the cleanest and best way to power the boards as it prevents a lot of noise from the RPI preaching the DAC hat and makes it sound far better.

Sorry if these are daft questions but I can never get my head round what a PI actually does.
