    Default HMV Birmingham

I had a meeting in Birmingham today, so took the chance to visit the new HMV Vault store there. I liked it, but it was anything extraordinary. Just a larger that usual HMV in a warehouse style environment. Quiet a nice large range of vinyl available, but pricing seemed to be fairly normal. I picked up a couple of Jazz albums and a CD. I'll go there again, but I'm not sure it's allure would drag me up to Brum just to visit the HMV.

The classical section was small, and I was particularly surprised at the lack of an opera DVD/Bluray section.

    Has anyone else visited it?

    Rob.

Well they stock classical LPs and CDs, so it seems odd not to stock opera videos. Especially as there was a Musicals video section

Popped into my local HMV the other day to see what vinyl they had to offer. The range of titles had increased considerably, but I could see little consistency in the pricing. Despite the increased range, there was little that interested me - only some '50s and '60s jazz.
