When I last bought newspapers, about 25 years ago now, it was the Daily Record, and that was only for the sports pages! Very much a 'back to front' newspaper reader

'Broadsheets' bored the pants off me, plus I couldn't be arsed with all the folding!

And I've never given the slightest tinker's cuss as to the political bias of any specific newspaper, or worse got all het up about 'left or right' shite - I'm just not 'wired' that way. I've always formed my opinions from real-life experiences and observing the world around me when I've travelled - and for very good reason, taken anything I read on the papers or watched on TV with a big pinch of salt!

    No, absolutely not.

The PC brigade believe in democracy on the understanding that everybody sides with them, in the event of any democtratic process not going their way they start demonstrating and name calling, the EU referendum being a prime example

Their belief in freedom of speech is very similar, you are free to say anything they agree with, if you dare say anything to the contrary you are a fascist/racist/homophobe/sexiest.

I find clapping very scary, it brings on panic attacks and fainting. I have to be revived with smelling salts if anybody claps near me.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

That makes sense. So Political Correctness is undemocratic and therefore is in itself Politically Incorrect.

I dunno. Some people are made anxious by loud noises, just as some people are scared of spiders, though spiders don't bother me at all. I don't think it's clapping per se that's the problem, so much as the combination of whooping, cheering, whistling and clapping. But I don't see any need to get het up about it.

The Mirror supported fascism when it and the Mail were owned by the Rothermere family (who still own the Mail newspapers). When Cecil King bought the Mirror, they began printing Churchill's anti-appeasement articles and became anti-fascist.

Not according to Wikipedia which says The Daily Mirror only published one piece supporting the BUF which was a 'guest article' by Rothermere:

The BUF was protectionist, strongly anti-communist and nationalistic to the point of advocating authoritarianism.[citation needed] It claimed membership as high as 50,000, and had the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror among its earliest (though short-lived) supporters.[17][18][19] The Mirror piece was a guest article by Daily Mail owner Viscount Rothermere and an apparent one-off; despite these briefly warm words for the BUF, the paper was so vitriolic in its condemnation of European fascism that Nazi Germany added the paper's directors to a hit-list in the event of a successful Operation Sea Lion.[20
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
