Default Fully specced Net Audio Quad 405-3 in exceptional condition

This is a very late Quad 405-2 (S/N 92235) which I sent to David Pritchard of Net Audio for the full 405-3 upgrade. It was one of the last he personally upgraded. It includes:

    • Net Audio 405 MK3 amplifier boards
    • Net Audio Dual Mono Power Supply
    • Burr Brown OPA627AP Opamps
    • 1.5v input sensitivity
    • Silver plated OFC cables
    • High quality RCA input sockets
    • Cliff gold plated binding posts (as used by Quad)
    • New feet
    • Includes Quad packaging

If you have ever wanted to try a Net Audio 405-3 you will struggle to find a better example than this.
Price £525. Collection from Surrey near junction 8 M25 or AOS taxi only. I will also be taking this to the Audiojumble on Sunday 6th October at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge.

    That looks immaculate Graham
Since the industrial style is a significant selling point and this is in such good condition as well as fully upgraded, it represents, as you say, a fantastic opportunity for someone.

Thanks James! Yes I love the look and clever design of these amps.

When this goes, I will still have one standard grey 405-2 and matching 34, iconic Brit hi-fi.

For anyone interested in this amp who would like more info on the modifications made by Net Audio, I took some screenshots from their old website which I will send if you pm me your email address.

Very nice, if I had the money I would buy.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.
