Wow, thanks for posting. Sounds like might be good to have at that price
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven
Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

I forgot to add that I've not tried it. May be foo.

Oh that's looks interesting, I have been looking into some room acoustics and the cheapest 5 panels from GIK came in at just under £600 plus P&P. I would rather try something out first before I started spending a lot. I mainly just need to damp low order reverb, 1st and 2nd octaves around 55-65hz and 110-120hz, and these could be just the ticket on the walls.
Ceiling wise I may need to make up 3 simple panels, 120cm by 60cm and about 5cm deep and cover them with an aesthetically pleasing material, however there are some on Amazon for £50 each.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

The absorbing frequency varies depending on how many pieces you put together and how you hang them. For maximum effect, we recommend at least 4 packages and to hang the panels 10 cm from the wall. so maybe not so cheap, made from 100% polyester
Hmm might be useful for high frequencies but won't do much for the low to upper bass resonances that are behind most people's room problems.
These discs lack the mass to have any influence on lower frequencies. I would also suggest that one needs to use a very large number of them to have any significant effect on higher frequencies. Perhaps, they may be useful in reducing unwanted reflections from radiators or windows but I really doubt it. My homemade acoustic panels are made of 100mm thick acoustic Rockwell and are each 1200mm x 600mm in surface area. Smaller panels or those made with "thinner" insulation were inadequate.
