Not everyone has the same circumstances.
I have retired and don’t have to work.
However I still have a mortgage that I choose to keep because my pension fund investments returns are far greater than the cost of the mortgage.
We are looking to move because we are rattling round in a house that is now too big.
In my head though I’m still a 30 year old, and still want to do things my 30 year old self would have done.

    Oh.. and just to clarify.
I’m reminded of a mate of mine who one very boozy Sunday lunch time in the pub back in York turned to me and said something that I’ve never forgotten,

“Our Sue may wear the trousers in our house. But I fuckin iron them”.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

What a strange place the world is at present. The republicans plan to acquit him. Anyone not following the party line will have the pack turn against.
What a great film this will make one day.

Woke up, got up. Turns out it was 5.15 am, I'd misread the clock thinking it was 6.15 (even that would have been a bit early for me).
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Sounds as though you might have minimalist tendencies.

    Congratulations!

We don’t - and it can be a pain. Start off with several empty rooms, then fill one with chairs, tables, hi-fi until there’s no more rattling around. When done, move on to the next one.

If only me and my wife had the same tendencies (oh err matron).
She wants to be minimalist and I don’t.
I’m with you on filling rooms up with hifi.
    Apparently I’m wrong.
In an uncharacteristic moment (drink may have been involved), I agreed to get rid of the system in the basement.
Why I did this is unclear, which is why I’m convinced drink must have been involved.

The upside is that funds raised from disposal are being used to enhance the main system in the living room.

Maybe that’s why I agreed. Anyway, it transpires that on moving I will have one system.
Until I sneak another one in.
