    You could do with a mini hoover, with an attachment with soft bristles. That should do the job without having to polish. I bet such a thing exists

    Or ask him to reverse up to the deck and fart on it. His guffs have the power to clear a room, so a bit of dust would be easy peasy If he can do a wet fart, that would double as furniture polish. just don't let it go on any painted surfaces.
